I developed my design skills at the British Academy of Garden Design, graduating with Distinction. This was followed by the RHS Level 3 Certificate in Practical Horticulture, which deepened my plant knowledge and understanding of cultivation and maintenance.
My love of gardens was inherited from my parents, who passed on their extensive horticultural skills and inspired my passion and enthusiasm for plants.
The process of creating beautiful outdoor spaces, that are also practical and sustainable is my passion.
My experience has mainly been in domestic gardens, both large and small. However, this year I was proud to win a design award and create a low-maintenance, drought-tolerant, wildlife-friendly border for a public space. I was also privileged to be part of the team carrying out a garden makeover on live television for 'This Morning' with TV gardener David Domoney.
As a former dance teacher, I am a creative thinker with an intuitive understanding of shape, form, balance & unity. The concept of 'right plant, right place' and year-round interest is a priority in my planting designs.
